Surrounded by an imposing setting of hills and experiencing an intimate and close contact with the nature of our valleys, the hot air balloon is an enjoyment option like few others. A ground support team follows the operation of the flight in detail and assists the crew and passengers once they have landed. This experience has the following stages:
- Induction: Once arrived at the starting point, our passengers are instructed on the details of the operation for a greater enjoyment of the experience. We liven up this moment with a hot coffee to get ready.
- Inflated: Fill the balloon with air and heat it under the strict supervision of our pilots. You can be part of this stage to feel much closer to the experience and enjoy it even more.
- The flight: Undoubtedly the most exciting stage of this experience. Enjoy the views in silence, feel the harmony of the environment through the skin, breathe the pure air of our valleys. The pilot will inform the passengers of each of the stages of the flight and will coordinate the exact landing point with the ground team. The direction of the wind defines where we will go, we just have to let ourselves be surprised.
- Landing: Once the exact location has been defined, the pilot will proceed to maneuver to support the balloon on the ground. Depending on the wind conditions at ground level, the gondola can gently lean on one of its sides, at all times the pilot will indicate the correct position to adopt. It is part of the adventure and certainly one of the most fun stages of the experience.
- end of trip: As tradition marks, a celebratory toast is important at the end of the flight. Our ground support team will delight us with a tasting of regional sparkling wine or some non-alcoholic beverage for those who require it. After this we return to the starting point while the team is in charge of folding and storing the balloon. Each of the passengers will take a certificate that certifies having participated in the balloon flight with the Plumaria team. It is a nice memory for each of them and of course for us.
